All Day

We are here to repair the world, Tikkun Olam, by promoting our Jewish values. One of the most effective ways to do that is by voting.

 Hinenu. Here We Are.

In support of our becoming a 100% Voting Congregation, a goal of the Reform Movement in Illinois, we want you to know you’ll be receiving 1 to 2 friendly reminder calls from one of our Temple phone bank volunteers encouraging you to engage in the non-partisan democratic process by voting for our November 3rd election, either by mail by the end of Sukkot or voting early. If you need help checking on your voter registration status, getting registered or if you have any other questions, we can help you.

For safety and public health reasons, we strongly encourage everyone to Vote By Mail. In order to ensure this process goes as smooth and accurate as possible, we strongly encourage doing so by the end of Sukkot, October 9.

Our Voter Suppression goal for Beth Tikvah was to reach 500 voters outside the community. Collectively, we have committed to reach over 1,020 via handwriting postcards! THANK YOU TO ALL OUR ambitious, passionate volunteers!

  • Feeling techy? Download the Empower app to aid with relational organizing and getting out the vote!
  • Interested in becoming an Election Judge? Eligibility age is 16! High Schoolers should reach out to Jess Greuttner if interested.
  • Be sure to stay up to date by following us on our tzedek committee facebook page!

This is strictly a non-partisan initiative. There are candidates of both Republican and Democratic parties running in every position across the country: president, senator, representative, judge, and trustee etc.

The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism States that the goal of nonpartisan voter engagement is NOT to elect candidates or parties, but it is to connect with elected officials and to increase our ability to advance policies that reflect our Jewish values, however you choose to define them.

If you wish to opt out of our phonebank, please click here. If you do not click here, you will receive 1-2 phone calls from our phonebank team.
