Book one and done!

Hi everyone. Before the break we finished the first Let’s Talk! Modern Hebrew book! We started off the New Year with a review of the materials from the previous book, and a deeper dive into verbs and infinitives. On the board - the class reviewed the list of verbs that we have covered in book one and then we filled out their infinitives. Following that, every student practiced using both in a sentence.

We finished the first book and the 7th grader Hebrew students are on schedule. Yay! To round out the rest of the term, the class completed chapter 9 through chapter 15 in the Let’s Talk! Modern Hebrew book. After completing the group, the class reviewed all of the verbs in the book and started working on infinitives. Hello families!
We started our year reviewing a smattering of topics from previous Hebrew courses - and made sure that the students understood basic sentence structure, greetings and a few verbs going into the class. We then reviewed the yellow Let’s Talk! Modern Hebrew chapters 1-6, which the students completed with their 6th grade teacher the previous year. It was great to see how much of it was retained!
