Our weekly Challah program has started. All orders are due on the Monday of the week you request challah pickup. As always we will continue to offer fresh 1 pound Challahs or 1 pound of dough each week. Your challah will be labeled with your family name and will be available for pick up in the synagogue kitchen on Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m and 3:30 p.m.
Challah for Thanksgiving anyone?
Any challot left on the counter after 3:30 p.m. on Fridays will be placed in the freezer. We can also send home challah on Sunday, DURING Sunday School. Freeze it and defrost it for your Shabbat on Fridays.
Our Challahs are KOSHER and purchased at Shalom Bakery in Buffalo Grove. The cost is $5.00 per Challah or bag of dough. Please see the chart below and check off the dates and number of Challahs or bags of dough you would like each week.
