Shalom! Finding a spiritual home is important, so let us introduce you to Beth Tikvah Congregation. We are a Reform temple serving over 250 families/individuals in the Northwest suburban area for over 60 years. Our membership is diverse, with people of all ages and levels of Jewish observance. We have many interfaith families who are involved in all aspects of temple life.
For many of us, our congregation serves as a center for our religious, educational, and community activities. There are also many benefits for our members. Whatever your reason for joining a congregation, we will help you feel welcome as part of the Beth Tikvah family.
Our clergy include Rabbi Taron Tachman and Cantorial Leader Ilana Axel. They are a dynamic duo who care greatly about our members and creating Jewish community. Our clergy also lead Torah Study every Saturday from 9:00-10:00 am. Prospective members are welcome to come and learn with us.
Our Shabbat Services are held on Friday evenings at various times:
- 6:00 pm - 1st Friday of the month - Family Shabbat Service, often with religious school class participation
- 7:00 pm - 2nd, 3rd and 4th Fridays of the month - Shabbat Service including Torah reading and translation as well as a sermon or interactive text study
- 6:00 pm - 5th Friday of the month - Kabbalat Shabbat Service to usher in Shabbat with psalms, prayers, songs, creativity, joy and innovation
Questions? Feel free to send us a message with a membership inquiry.
