4:00 PM - 5:15 PMSanctuary

Sue Horowitz is an award winning Jewish performing artist who brings a rich voice, sweet guitar renditions, and a loving soul - and humor! - to her beautiful music.
Cantorial Leader Ilana Axel: "I have known Sue and enjoyed her music for over 20 years and am so excited to share her special warmth, humor, and voice with my Beth Tikvah community."

Currently located in both Ithaca, NY and York Beach, ME, Sue is a touring singer-songwriter with a story to tell. Her authentic, intimate, clear strong voice and guitar playing complement her wise narrative songwriting.
Christine Lavin says, "This is one first- rate songwriter."
Stacy Beyer notes, "Sue is the songwriter that writes songs every other songwriter wishes they had written."

Sue has released 5 albums, and her latest album "Strings, Wings and Curious Things" debuted at #3 of the Folk Radio charts, while also charting at #4 for a single and #4 for artist.
She was honored to be a 2022 finalist at the Emerging Artist showcase at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and a featured artist at the 2019 NERFA DJ showcase.
Sue has been included in Jewish publications such as RUACH, CCAR Hagaddah, Chazak V'Ematz/Jewish Songs of Protest and Hope, Manginot and WCN Anthology.
She has been featured on Jewish and Folk radio shows internationally.
Sue is the proud founder and creator of the Jewish Songwriting Cooperative retreat and loves to lead songwriting workshops.

We are very fortunate to have Sue come to our Congregation, and we hope you will all join us for the concert.
