All DayWelcome to Beth Tikvah's Gan Tikvah "Garden of Hope" 2020
Who: Anyone interested in helping the Beth Tikvah garden grow - No experience needed! We will teach you.
Sign Up: For watering and /or harvesting this year's vegetables. We also have our planting day (May 17) Worm Day (July 12) and final harvest (September 13).
When: Any day you are available throughout the summer and early fall.
Time: Watering to be done at your convenience, ideally early morning or late afternoon/evening. We have instructions posted at the fence. And the hose is ready by the garden
Harvesting is done each Sunday starting at 10:00 AM. This takes about an hour.
This year, our sign ups are critical. Please use the sign up genius so we know when you are coming as we are planning to maintain 6 feet social distancing for Planting, Harvesting, Worm Day and Putting the Garden to Bed. This is a great family and community activity so please encourage your friends and children to share in the mitzvah. All food grown is donated to WINGS or other local food pantries. They need us more than ever.
Where: Meet at the garden directly behind the Temple.
