Violins of Hope Special Music Program
Sunday, May 7, 2023 • 16 Iyar 5783
4:00 PM - 5:30 PMSanctuary
JCC Chicago is bringing 70 violins, violas and cellos, played by Jewish musicians in the Holocaust, to Chicagoland and across Illinois.
Violins rescued and restored from the Holocaust will be presented and played at this unique program featuring guest artists and Beth Tikvah musicians.
These instruments have been lovingly restored and have traveled the world to give voice to the victims and reinforce messages of hope, harmony and humanity. Hear the stories of this incredible project and view the instruments from up close. Followed by a delicious reception.
This program is free and open to the public. NO unaccompanied minors. Anyone under the age of 18 must be present with an adult.
Registration is full! Thank you to all who have registered.
Sponsored in partnership by Beth Tikvah Congregation with the JCC of Chicago and a private donor.
