3rd Grade Judaics Blog

Third grade has been learning a lot about being created in G-d’s Image and what that means. We worked on a mirror collage project that is hanging up in the classroom where the students cut pictures out of magazines and put them onto a picture of a mirror. These pictures represented things that were created in G-d’s image. Students picked things such as plants and animals and beautiful things from nature. They really seemed to grasp the concept. We are now moving on to the study of Hanukkah and the idea of  Strength. Not just physical strength but mental strength as well. It has been a pleasure to teach your children so far this year and I am looking forward to continuing our time together after break. Happy Hanukkkah to all!
