Gesher L’Kesher Advanced Hebrew
After getting off to a slow start this year - thanks to my hip surgery - I feel the class has begun to gel over the last week or two and most of the students are are committed to getting the most out of our time together. We have already put time into some basic grammar structures, vocabulary, every-day language usage and even a taste of literature. As the year progresses we’ll continue to work on those themes along with some more - and more complex - reading, we’ll do some listening, and probably take in some Israeli television too.
Should the dates work out, and the students display an interest, I would also like to look at the possibility of taking the class to an Israeli community event later in the year. I will, of-course, share all the details if and when that becomes an actual plan.
Should you have any questions - or suggestions - please don’t hesitate to contact me in person on Sunday or Tuesday after class, or anytime by email @ mark.axel@beth-tikvah.org
