4th Annual Purim Dinner in a Bag

KING AHASUERUS REQUESTS us to shop for our Social Action Committee "Dinner in a Bag" Purim Project.
This project provides families of the Living Faith Church in Palatine with shelf stable dinners. In the spirit of The Book of Esther, we will continue to give gifts for Purim!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT IN JOINING US IN THE MOVEMENT TO END HUNGER IN OUR COMMUNITY.
EACH MEAL WILL CONTAIN: - 1 16 oz. bag of dried pinto beans
- 1 16 oz. bag of rice
- 1 package of (12 or more) tortillas
- 1 8 oz. jar of salsa
- 2 15 oz. cans of corn or beans
- 2 15 oz. cans of fruit or a package of individual fruit cups
Drop off: Sunday, March 17, 10AM-Noon
Bring your filled bags to Beth Tikvah.
Easy Parking Lot drop off during the Purim Carnival.
If you can’t come to Beth Tikvah on March 17, feel free to drop off your dinners in the Social Action bin before Purim OR contact SocialAction@Beth-Tikvah.org to make other arrangements.

Sisterhood has 2-Mitzvah Day projects:
Crochet/Knit headbands for those in need during cold seasons.
Crochet/Knit mini hearts with inspirational and encouraging messages for the Little Heart Project.
How can you help?
Donate your spare medium weight yarn, any color.
Donate crochet hooks (H and J).
Easy Drop Off:
Social Action Box in Beth Tikvah Congregation- Please place in a bag and label Yarn/Crochet Hooks.
