Enrollment is now open for the Religious School Year 2025-2026
Dear Beth Tikvah Religious School Families,
As we look forward to the 2025-2026 school year, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for all the wonderful experiences awaiting our students at Beth Tikvah’s Religious School! Our deepest commitment is to create a warm, nurturing, and welcoming space where every child and family feels supported in developing their unique Jewish identity.
We are thrilled to announce some fantastic news that we know many of you have been eagerly awaiting: the return of in-person classes on Tuesday evenings for our students in 3rd through 7th grades!
We have consistently heard your valuable feedback and requests for the return of in-person classes. We wholeheartedly agree that bringing back this format will provide an even richer learning opportunity for our students and foster quality community time together, strengthening the bonds within our Beth Tikvah family.
Our priority is to offer in-person studies, as we believe it offers a better learning environment and creates the time and space for our students to further develop their connections with classmates, building their Jewish identity.
As we transition to the return of in-person studies, we understand families may need an alternative option and will be offering small-group Hebrew virtual classes for an additional school fee. However, online Torah will not be available.
Having in-person studies and an option for online classes is keeping in line with the religious studies programs of several local synagogues.
When our students return to classes on Sunday, September 7th, our schedule will combine our continued Sunday studies with the highly anticipated return of in-person Tuesday evening classes.
Here's a look at our exciting 2025-2026 schedule: Sundays:
9:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.: Pre-K through 7th grade
10:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: 8th through 12th grade (We will be offering a non-Hebrew class option for students at this level.)
Tuesdays (In-Person):
5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: 3rd through 7th grades
During this dedicated time, our students will receive comprehensive Hebrew (Ivrit) instruction and the much-anticipated return of Torah studies. We strongly believe that the reintroduction of formal Hebrew studies starting in 3rd grade, combined with in-person instruction, will significantly enhance our students' preparation for their continued Jewish journey, including their B'Mitzvah and beyond.
6:15 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.: 8th-12th grades Dinner with the Rabbi
6:45 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.: 8th-12th grades Gesher L’Kesher Academy
