We started off the New Year by asking the kids to write two goals they had for themselves. The goals could be sports, music, personal or even academic oriented. Using our book “Let's talk”, the 6th graders continued learning by taking turns reading and translating some stories. For each story, there were worksheets that they worked on in partners to complete. We talked about the holiday Simchat Torah and made our own Torah with the Shema written inside.
