We have been working on conversation, reading, translating and writing sentences in class. We also started a book “Ivrit Esray” and we finished Chapter 1. We are enjoying working on verbs in present tense. Keep up your great Avoda in class!

I am really enjoying teaching Ivrit and working with the 8th and 9th graders. We are currently working on using short phrases to learn how to make some conversation. I am excited to hear the students speak more Hebrew! During Thanksgiving, we did a project to learn words about love and kindness. In Gesher L’Kesher Hebrew students are building their conversational skills and have been focusing on greeting one another. They have studied units and vocabulary for occupations, countries and are beginning to work on a food unit as wello as past and present tense verbs.
