High School Hebrew: Debbe Astrug

I am really enjoying teaching Ivrit and working with the 8th and 9th graders. We are currently working on using short phrases to learn how to make some conversation. I am excited to hear the students speak more Hebrew! During Thanksgiving, we did a project to learn words about love and kindness. We did a project for Hanukkah identifying the Hebrew words and drawing pictures to match. Everybody has been doing a great job learning words related to restaurants and food. The students looked up words in Hebrew, wrote stories about visiting a restaurant, and made their own comic strips. They are having fun working on finishing their stories.
