Rosh Hodesh (New Moon) – the start of each Hebrew month - has been observed by Jewish women for centuries. Our Rosh Hodesh group at Beth Tikvah offers a unique opportunity to engage spiritually with all who identify as women, age 18 years and over, as we explore the journeys of our lives as reflected through the rich treasury of Jewish stories, texts, and traditions. Hodesh tov! May you have a good month!
6th-8th graders: We will explore physical and emotional stress in our lives-the causes, effects, and potential antidotes. We will highlight physical and emotional self-care and present several simple tools you can use in your daily lives to take care of your bodies, hearts, and minds.
In this three week mini-series we will explore Jewish views on what it means to live a life of meaning and blessing, Jewish funeral customs and rituals, and Jewish understandings of the afterlife. The three sessions held in person and via zoom will be Sundays, January 15, 22, 29 11am-12pm. In person space is full. Please register for the ZOOM link.
