Happy February to ALL! We begin this month in what many of us refer to as our “Happy Place:” OSRUI (Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute) for the Congregational Retreat, February 1 – 3, 2019. I hope you were able to join us for all the fun and memory making! If not, look for pictures to see all the fun and plan to join us next time!

I want to let you know about a project that we are embarking on that will enhance our Beth Tikvah community and your membership experience. It’s the URJ Congregational Assessment and Benchmarking Project. This project includes collecting data from three key areas: a Congregational Survey, a Board Self-Assessment, and a Financial Assessment. The first key piece is the Congregational Survey… That’s where YOU come in! As I have said many times before, we really do want to hear from you about how you feel about being a part of Beth Tikvah. We began the process last year by having several Congregational Coffees to gather your thoughts informally. We had over 100 people participate throughout the year! We so appreciate all of you who came out to these sessions! We gained very valuable information, and as such, we were able to make some changes in our services and programs. This Congregational Survey is the next step in our ongoing efforts to truly understand how our congregation feels and what you value in our relationship. This will help us to quantify your responses so that we can really look at what areas we are doing well in, or what opportunities we have yet to improve upon. By now you have received an introductory email which also includes your unique link to complete the survey. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts. Your answers are confidential,  so no one at our temple will have access to your individual survey responses. The temple leadership team will receive a confidential summary report of the aggregate data after the survey closes.

The Survey is open from January 30th to February 20th.
