Today we stand before the shofar to hear its voice-resilient and strong, proclaiming freedom, promising redemption. -Mishkan HaNefesh Machzor for the Days of Awe
This Rosh Hashanah as we welcome in the New Year with the sound of the shofar, I look forward to celebrating with you, our Beth Tikvah family. We will join together with unique online worship services and sacredly-distanced in-person gatherings for our Rosh Hashanah Family Drive-In Service, Tashlich casting and Shofar sounding.
Though this year's High Holy Days will be different, the Days of Awe will still be meaningful and memorable. Holiday traditions are ever more meaningful. Let Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur provide you the opportunity to connect with family, friends & community. I pray that this season offers you a chance for reflection, rest, and rejuvenation. In whatever way you mark this sacred time, may these special days ahead be inspiring and fulfilling.
May the sound of the shofar ring in for all of us a year of strength and resilience, joy and blessings.
And may this upcoming year 5781 be a year of freedom and redemption and peace for all.
Sara, Sylvie, Bayla and I join together in wishing you a happy, healthy, sweet New Year.
